Although you own your land, Domaine Major inc. and the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change, ask for your commitment to protect these species and thereby contribute to this enchanting place for generations to come.

Also, it is important to properly plan the cleaning and preparation of your land. Therefore, at the request of the ministry, it is crucial that any deforestation be done between September 1 and March 31. This helps protect the birds by reducing the impact of cutting during the indispensable nesting period.

In concrete terms, we are providing you with two plots of land that will remain in its natural state and that serve as conservation areas for species with status. These media allow you to transplant plants such as hawthorn, Milkweed, Wood garlic and Butternut trees if you can't keep them on your land. 

Domaine Major inc. is committed to:

• Inform and support common values to counter climate change and the disappearance of species unique to our climatic zone.
• Limit the ecological impact on the territory during development work
• Hire the necessary experts and follow their recommendations.
• Create and provide access to a protected regeneration area of over 150,000 sq. Ft.
• Inventory the species to be protected.
• Keep you informed through technical sheets and various communications such as the newsletter and social media.

YES. The new owners will have to sign a letter of COMMITMENT:

This will commit you to inform yourself, respect and contribute to the maintenance of the flora and fauna of the land that I own in the Les Baies 309 Project, from Domaine major inc. And this, according to the standards of the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change of the Government of Quebec (Environnement et de la lutte contre les changements climatiques du Gouvernement du Québec).
